Chilly Temperatures Make For A Brisk Final Fair Hill Jog

Horses and riders bundled up as they braved the cold wind on their way to the jog on Sunday, Oct. 19. The two-star riders started things off at 8 a.m. Sixty horses presented. Alyssa Peterson’s Stormin’s Barbie was held but accepted. Robert Costello’s Dustin IV was held and withdrawn. Ashley Brown didn’t present Patmos Bentley.

In the three-star, Craig Thompson’s Orion was held and then spun upon re-inspection. Phillip Dutton’s Kheops du Quesnay was held but accepted, as was Boyd Martin’s fifth-placed Belmont II. Ashley Leith, Paige Hewlett and Mikki Kuchta didn’t present their horses, leave 39 horses in the jog.
