Carrollton is a private, unrecognized hunt located in Carroll County, northwest of Baltimore. It was founded by Harry Strauss in the 1930s and became inactive after his death in 1949. But several Carroll County residents, including Edna McNemar and the late Col. Donald Thackeray revived it in the \’70s.
