Carmen Franco and Batistuta V.O. are used to being in the ribbons during the Gold Coast Dressage Association (GCDA) show circuit, and during the GCDA May Dressage rated show, the pair once again earned top scores. Thanks to a winning ride and a score of 68.571% in Second Level Test 3, Franco and the buckskin Lusitano stallion won the Vita Flex Victory Pass award, sponsored by Vita Flex Nutrition.
Batistuta is owned by Nanette Sexton and trained by Franco, and both are pleased with his progress and looking toward the future. “He is an excellent horse and is currently schooling all of the Third Level movements,” said Franco. “We fully expect him to start showing that level next season and I am hopeful that his success continues into the FEI levels. He seems very suited for it. We are thrilled to be recognized with the Vita Flex Victory Pass award on top of our winning score and want to thank them for sponsoring the show.”
