Canadian Dressage rider David Marcus showed off his fashionable side during the CDI jog at the $15,000 Wellington Dressage Classic CDI at the Global Dressage Festival, and thanks to his great style Marcus took home the ShowChic Turnout Award. The ShowChic Dressage Boutique, formerly known as Sho Clothes, sponsored the ShowChic Turnout Award and Marcus received a $100 gift certificate to ShowChic as the winner of the ShowChic Turnout Award.
Marcus’s show-stopping attire included a navy jacket, purple button-down, red tie and matching pocket square. His equine partner Chrevi’s Capital was also groomed to perfection. “I always want to present a professional, stylish turnout to the judges because I believe it is a reflection of my training and riding,” Marcus said. “I am thrilled to win the Turnout Award and want to thank ShowChic for sponsoring the award.”
Marcus grew up in the United States but relocated to Canada where he now operates a highly successful training facility. His extensive show ring experience allows Marcus to pass his skills onto his students and in addition to his expert coaching, his talent in the saddle makes him a highly sought after trainer of young horses.

Michele Hundt, owner of ShowChic, congratulated Marcus on winning the Turnout Award. “David looked fantastic during the jog, from his great fitting jacket to his wonderful color choices with his shirt and tie. It’s always great to see someone who presents themselves so well in front of the judges and we were thrilled to honor David with the Turnout Award. He truly deserved it,” Hundt said. “Sho Clothes is well known within the dressage community and although we are the same great store, we have changed our name to reflect our chic selection of dressage couture.
