Canada Names Representatives For Tokyo Olympic Games

Equestrian Canada announced today, June 23, the horse-and-rider combinations that will represent the country at the Tokyo Olympic Games, July 23-Aug. 8.

The dressage team, listed alphabetically, is:

• Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu and All In
• Lindsay Kellock and Sebastien
• Chris Von Martels and Eclips

Naima Moreira Laliberté and Statesman will be the traveling reserve pair. Jill Irving and Arthur are the alternate pairing.

Canada is sending two individuals to compete in eventing:

• Colleen Loach and Qorry Blue D’Argouges
• Jessica Phoenix and Pavarotti

Karl Slezak and Fernhill Wishes are the first alternates, and Hawley Bennett-Awad and Jollybo are the second alternates.

Canada is sending Mario Deslauriers, on Bardolina 2, to compete as an individual in show jumping. Amy Millar and Truman are the first alternates, while Tiffany Foster and Northern Light are the second alternates.
