Pau, France—Oct. 22

Records were toppled today as dressage kicked off at the Pau CCI5*-L.

Australia and Great Britain started as they hope to go on, taking the first 11 places in the provisional rankings ahead of the best French riders, Jean Lou Bigot (Utrillo Du Halage) and Arnaud Boiteau (Quoriano IFCE) currently 12th and 13th.

With three of its representatives in the top 10, Australia dominates the leaderboard after Christopher Burton’s flawless performance on Graf Liberty (22.0), which broke the Pau dressage score record just minutes after Great Britain’s Piggy March toppled the record with Brookfield Inocent (22.2). Reigning World Champion Ros Canter is close behind in third on Zenshera (24.8).
