Kalispell, Mont.—July 18
The horse inspections at the Event At Rebecca Farm stretched across nearly the entire day as hundreds of pairs—from the novice and training three-day divisions, the Adequan FEI North American Youth Championships (CCI* and CIC**), and the open FEI divisions (CCI***, CCI** and CCI*)—all came forward to present for the ground jury.
In the young rider competition, only one horse (Annah Yoder’s Ern More Cash) was spun, which leaves the Area V CCI* team with a three-rider squad. In the CCI***, Ellen Doughty-Hume’s Sir Oberon was held but then passed on re-inspection. Eleven pairs will go down centerline Friday in the CCI***, and 12 are entered in the CIC***.
