Following a successful debut last year, the second edition of the Alltech National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky, is set for October 30 through November 4, 2012. The show will once again be held at the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. And once again, one of Lexington’s most popular and successful car dealerships, Audi of Lexington, returns as the Official Car of the Alltech National Horse Show.
In addition to being the Official Car for the second year in a row, Audi of Lexington will provide, for a year, the use of a brand new Audi Q7 to the Leading Open Jumper Rider at this year’s show.
“The Alltech National Horse Show is a perfect fit for Audi,” said Audi of Lexington’s Alex Boone. “The Show is ranked #1 in the United States, the Kentucky Horse Park as a venue could not be better and the people are passionate about their sport and life in general.”
Last year’s Leading Open Jumper Rider, Great Britain superstar, Nick Skelton, a five-time Olympian, edged out American Olympic Gold medalist McLain Ward for the title. “I was surprised that I won the Leading Rider as it was very close between myself and McLain and it came down to whoever was highest placed in the $250,000 Alltech Grand Prix,” reflected last year’s winner Skelton. “I was very excited to win the Audi Q7. I was especially excited as I was heading down to Wellington for four months and really needed a car to drive! So the win was timely and very handy. It’s a really great car to drive, so maybe I’ll have to come back and try and win it again!”
“The first year was an incredible success, as I’ve said,” Boone added. “The second year will be even better I’m sure.”
Audi of Lexington, located at 3000 Pink Pigeon Parkway in Lexington, is a premier dealer of Audi automobiles.
With Audi, progress is the driving force behind everything they do. It is the result of meticulous design, exhaustive testing and inspired engineering. And ultimately, it is the birthright of every car they build. This year, a new generation of progress is taking hold at Audi of Lexington.
