The Appaloosa Horse Club has this week officially became the 14th breed affiliate recognized by the U.S. Equestrian Federation, meaning competitions offering classes specifically for Appaloosas will be covered by rules and the USEF\’s rule-enforcement process.
The USEF now oversees a total of 28 breeds and disciplines with rules and/or awards.
The Appaloosa Horse Club has more than 28,000 members and 653,000 horses registered.
