Amanda Bader of Accord, N.Y., sustained a head injury when she fell on the cross-country course at the Ocala Winter II Horse Trials, Feb. 17 at the Florida Horse Park. 

Bader was competing in the preliminary rider division aboard her mare Samira.  She was flown to Shands Trauma Unit in Gainesville, Fla.
