All Aboard Dies At River Glen Horse Trials

All Aboard, a 9-year-old Thoroughbred gelding ridden by Audrea Dyer, collapsed and died on the intermediate cross-country at the River Glen Horse Trials (Tenn.) today.

Dyer was uninjured when the incident occurred  between fences on course.

The pair started at the novice level together in 2012, and last year they won the Richland Park CCI** (Mich.).

According to the U.S. Eventing Association, All Aboard (Silver Train—Melina’s Fuse, Lite The Fuse) will undergo a necropsy. Samples were collected and will be analyzed as a part of the ongoing USEA Cardiopulmonary Research Study.
