For the first time in recent years the American Academy of Equine Art is hosting the annual Spring Invitational Exhibition and sale at two venues simultaneously.  It will be on display from April 12 through May 24 at the Anne Wright Wilson Gallery at Georgetown College, Georgetown, Kentucky and shown from April 13-June 30 at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art, Marietta, Georgia.

According to AAEA president Sheila Barnes: “Featuring our artists’ work in these two prestigious locations is very unusual and exciting for us.  The collections of paintings and sculpture shown at each place will represent the highest quality of equine sporting art and should attract many horse lovers and collectors to view these lovely pieces.”

The Georgetown show will run concurrently with the Rolex Three Day Event at the Kentucky Horse Park (only seven miles away), Kentucky Derby in Lousiville and the spring racing season at Keeneland.
