Nona Garson is the host of the InterContinental Sport Horse Auction and she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as an Olympian, Pan American Medal Winner, World Championship Team member, and a member of multiple Nations Cup’s Teams.

“We’re very excited,” commented Garson. “I feel like this is the best group of horses we’ve ever had, even though we’ve had some really outstanding hunters, jumpers, and dressage horses that have come through the auction.”

The 7th Annual InterContinental Sport Horse Auction is the only event of its kind in the United States, and it will feature 32 hunter, jumper and dressage horses. Garson handpicks each horse that is available at the auction and they are all quality mounts that are either already capable of competing at the top level of the sport, or are prospects that will someday be competing at that level. A pony that came through the auction in 2008 named Cassius Clay ended up as the 2009 USEF Large Green Pony of the Year and won the 2009 USEF Pony Final’s Overall Large Green Pony Championship.
