A complete list of ticket prices for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games is now available online at www.alltechfeigames.com. Tickets start at $25 for para-dressage and range up to $150 for the opening ceremonies. Ticketmaster Inc. will serve as the WEG’s ticket provider.
Approximately 600,000 tickets will be available starting on September 25, 2009. The WEG will take place Sept. 25 through Oct. 10, 2010, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
“We are pleased to have created a ticket program that will be accessible and affordable,” said Jamie Link, CEO of the World Games 2010 Foundation. “We have a wide range of prices that offer something for everyone, from equestrian enthusiasts to visitors who want to enjoy the 2010 Games, the Kentucky Horse Park and the many other activities and offerings we have available.”
The WEG, which occurs every four years, is being held outside of Europe for the first time in the competition’s history and will incorporate eight world championships: reining, endurance, dressage, eventing, show jumping, para-dressage, vaulting and driving. A complete schedule is available online as well.
NBC Sports is slated to broadcast the WEG, the largest commitment to an equestrian event that has ever been made in U.S. television history.
