More than 900 riders across 24 states gathered on Sunday, June 13, to set the Guinness World Record for the largest competitive trail ride. The American Competitive Trail Horse Association organized the ride.
Riders completed a six-mile ride that featured natural trail obstacles. In order to set the record, a minimum of 250 riders had to complete the ride, with at least 25 riders per venue.

The ride raised more than $65,000 for horse rescue programs across the country, according to Equisearch.com.
