Motherhood Beckons To Van Grunsven

Anky van Grunsven of the Netherlands took home the individual gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics while pregnant with her first child, Yannick Janssen.

Apparently, riding while pregnant agrees with van Grunsven, since after winning the individual gold medal for her freestyle at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, Aug. 26, she announced that she\'s pregnant with baby No. 2, who is due sometime in March.

This means she may not be able to defend her FEI World Cup title in Las Vegas in 2007, but she stated that she is definitely not giving up riding.
