Spain’s national federation, Real Federación HÃpica Española named four combinations to compete in the dressage competitions in the Tokyo Olympic Games. The list is as follows:
- Beatriz Ferrer-Salat with Elegance
- Claudio Castilla Ruiz with Alcaide
- Severo Jurado Lopez with Fendi T
- José Antonio Garcia Mena with Sorento 15
Juan Matute Guimón, with his horse Quantico, and Garcia Mena’s second horse Divina Royal are the non-traveling reserves.
Belgium gained a team spot for Tokyo after Ireland withdrew its team position and Luxembourg failed to qualify three riders. Belgium’s national federation, Federation Royale Belge Des Sports Equestres, named its team as follows:

Alexa Fairchild and Dabanos D’O4 will act as the traveling reserve.
The dressage competition will take place July 22-28.
