When you’ve come so close to your goal of winning a major equitation final, it can be easy to feel frustrated when it doesn’t come to fruition. But Dominic Gibbs kept trying, and finally, in the last championship of the 2020 season, he was victorious in the ASPCA Maclay Final.
Gibbs was second after the first round and moved into the lead following the flat phase. He stayed there for the second round and the subsequent test.
