The American Horse Publications awarded The Chronicle of the Horse, coth.com, Untacked and their contributors 12 honors for excellence in equine journalism. The winners were named at the AHP Equine Media Conference, held June 14-16 in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

The Chronicle’s website, coth.com, won best equine-related website, and Untacked, a bi-monthly lifestyle magazine, earned general excellence as the best magazine in its class. Three other submissions topped their categories as well.

Twelve entries from Untacked, The Chronicle of the Horse and coth.com and their contributors won 12 accolades at the American Horse Publications Equestrian Media Awards.

• 1^st General Excellence: Untacked
• 1^st Equine-Related Human-Animal Bond Article: “Horse of a Lifetime: San Remo VDL” by Laura Lemon, published in the Chronicle
• 1^st Personal Column Single Article: “Finding The Strength To Step Back For Sobriety” by Bill Rube, published in the Chronicle
• 1^st Freelance Editorial Photograph: “Rainy Winner” by Douglas Lees, published in the Chronicle
• 2^nd Publishing Media Equine-Related Blog: “Behind The Stall Door” by web editor Molly Sorge and executive editor Beth Rasin, published at coth.com
