Updated: Bibby Farmer Hill Goes Home After Heart Problems Put Her In Hospital

Hunter and pony trainer Bibby Farmer Hill is currently in the hospital after suffering from heart problems over the last few weeks. Hill was diagnosed mid-May with a mild heart attack, but now doctors believe she’s suffering from a heart condition caused by a virus.

“We were showing in Tryon [N.C.] when she first had the problem, and she went to the hospital there,” said Don Stewart, her co-trainer at Don Stewart Stables in Reddick, Fla. “She stayed there for three days.”

Hill’s daughter, professional hunter rider Kelley Farmer, left the Devon Horse Show (Pa.), a day early to be with her mother.

By Monday, June 6, Hill had returned home from the hospital and was feeling better, but they were still waiting on test results to determine the issue.
