Equine conservation organization Equus Survival Trust (EST) has announced it will host a second nationwide endangered breeds event. The Festivale of Endangered Equines will be held at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VIRGINIA on June 14th, 15th, and 16th, 2016 (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

The previous EST Festivale (in 2008 in KY) showcased 15 breeds and drew exhibitors from as far away as Canada, Texas and Georgia, as well as spectators from the West Coast and from Britain. It was truly an international affair. As before, this year’s Festivale of Endangered Equines will focus on raising awareness within the general public and encourage networking among breeders and rare breed associations to facilitate the conservation of their respective endangered breeds.

The Festivale’s theme, “Celebrate the Differences” is designed to encourage visitors, owners, and breeders to explore and cherish the differences of these endangered historic breeds.

The Equus Survival Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation organization specializing in equines.  For more information on EST or the Festivale of Endangered Equines, please contact:  Victoria Tollman, EST Event Coordinator at:   EquusSurvivalTrust@Yahoo.com
