William Fox-Pitt Takes First Ride Since Injury

British four-star eventer William Fox-Pitt, who sustained a head injury in an October fall, took his first ride since the accident. He posted a video of the ride to his Fox-Pitt Eventing Facebook page.

“I’m looking forward to getting started again, and I’ll see you all in the new year,” he said, thanking his fans for their support over the last few months.

  Fox-Pitt’s accident occurred on cross-country in the 7-year-old class at Le Lion d’Angers CCI** (France) on Oct. 17. Fox-Pitt fell with Reinstated at fence 20, an owl hole, and the horse was uninjured in the fall.
