Lexington, Ky. – Nov. 1
Tim Gredley and Unex Valente are becoming quite the puissance specialists. Just one week after winning the puissance at the Washington International Horse Show (D.C.) at 6’9″, Gredley and Unex Valente added 3″ to that mark and won the $50,000 Lifeforce Elite Puissance at the Alltech National Horse Show.
The class turned into a duel between Gredley and Aaron Vale on Smartie. At 6’9″, Unex Valente gave the wall air to spare, but Smartie nudged a top block out of place. It didn’t fall though, so Vale went through to the 7′ round with Gredley. Smartie didn’t leave much doubt in that round, though, jumping through the top of the wall. Unex Valente sneaked up over it cleanly, giving Gredley another big-jump win to add to his resume.
