USEF Names Team For FEI World Pair Driving Championships

The following horse-and-driver combinations have been named by the U.S. Equestrian Federation to represent the United States at the 2013 FEI World Pair Driving Championships in Topolciansky, Slovakia, Aug. 28-Sept. 1. The three following combinations will compete in Topolciansky:

Rachel Blanchard (Upperville, Va.) will drive Belle Grey Farm LLC's de l'Amour; Belle Grey Farm LLC and Heather Briggs’ Taksi; and Thomas Blumschein's Tara 14.

De l'Amour is a 2007 Oldenburg mare.

Taksi is a 2000 Dutch Warmblood mare.

Tara 14 is a 2002 Austrian Warmblood mare.

Scott Dancer (Woodside, Calif.) will drive Daniel and Dennis Schneiders’ Eppo 10; and his own and Kathrin Dancer’s Redford and Wimbledon.

Eppo 10 is a 1997 gelding of unknown breeding.

Redford is a 1999 Hessian gelding.

Wimbledon is a 2003 Dutch Warmblood gelding.

 

Misdee Wrigley-Miller (Lakewood Ranch, Fla.) will drive her own Beau, Sam and Sarasko.

Beau is a 2006 Dutch Warmblood gelding.

Sam is a 2002 Dutch Warmblood gelding.

Sarasko is a 2002 Hessian gelding.

 

This team recently finished fourth at the CAIO Riesenbeck (Germany). Chester Weber will serve as chef d’equipe.
