“We chose to sponsor the American Gold Cup because of the high caliber of competitors it draws, the stellar work the management team has done to promote the show in the surrounding community, the opportunity to dovetail into the NBC Sports Network broadcast and of course the picturesque venue that is Old Salem Farm,” James said. “Obviously as a brand it gives us a great level of exposure but it is also an attractive piece of a larger relationship that we hope helps support and gain exposure for equestrian sport at a national level.”
Purina Animal Nutrition is always working on developing new products to improve the health of horses.
“The newest, most exciting offerings are our new supplement line, which includes FreedomFlexâ„¢ Joint Health Product, ElectroEaseâ„¢ Electrolyte Powder Supplement, HydraSaltâ„¢ Salt Supplement and our Purina® Hydration Hayâ„¢ ORIGINAL Horse Hay Block,” said James. “These additions to our family of products can help horse owners tackle even more challenges and help further round out a nutrition program, particularly for performance horses during show seasons and active horses in rising summer temperatures.”
