After placing seventh (71.02%) in the Aachen CDIO Prix St. Georges June 26, Caroline Roffman had to withdraw Her Highness O from the rest of the small tour competition in Germany due to colic.
“After a wonderful ride on Her Highness, she became sick and had to be taken to a vet clinic and withdrawn from competition,” stated Roffman, Wellington, Fla., on her facebook page. “We spent last night with her, and she is stable now, and with some luck and prayers she might be OK to come back to the show to our team today.”

Roffman is still slated to ride Sagacious HF in the Under 25 Grand Prix and Intermediaire II at Aachen. She’s first to go today, June 28, in the Intermediaire II.
“This surely puts things in perspective because with no hesitation the health and happiness of your horse is all that really matters,” Roffman said.
