Sammis is very grateful for the opportunity to ride him and was delighted with the start to her partnership with ‘Cinco’ whom she considers a Grand Prix prospect with whom she plans to campaign for a place on the U.S. team at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

“He’s a wonderful horse and I’m so pleased how he performed this weekend. There were periods during both tests where you could see the potential in him that will only develop and mature as he gets stronger. It’s an exciting time to be a part of this horse’s future,” said Sammis.

Sammis, who trains with Canadian Ashley Holzer, previously scored a 70% in her first outing with ‘Cinco’ at Saugerties in August.  The pair will head to Florida in December to continue their show season in Wellington through the winter.
