The Saint Johnsbury Automobile company is excited to announce a brand new partnership with the historic Green Mountain Horse Association.

“We’ve wanted to focus more on our community involvement and it’s important to us that we make connections with organizations that we believe in,” says Mike Loschiavo of Saint J Subaru. “

In addition, to their  active involvement and support, Saint J Automobile Company will be providing GMHA with a brand new GMC Sierra truck and the company will also have a special events tent set up for the season to be used by Saint J and GHMA. 

 “This is a natural fit for us.  We have  many customers that are active in the horse world.  And both our families feel strongly about supporting the equestrian and land conservation community,” says John Loschiavo of Saint J Auto.

Horse riding is truly a family passion for the Loschiavos.  Mike’s wife Penny Loschiavo has always had an in interest in horses and has been involved in the dressage community for over thirteen years. She’s attended Adult Dressage Camp week at GMHA and earned her USDF Qualified Rider in 2001 Penny plans to compete this year with her Hanoverian – “Roccadera.” John Loschiavo’s wife Melanie is an active equestrian who’s first experience with GMHA was as a Pony Club member in 1976 and since then she has utilized the facility throughout her leadership roles with Pony Club, Area 1 Young Riders and as a competitor herself . John’s daughter Anna Loschiavo has competed in eventing through the CIC 2 Star level and has taken advantage of almost every equestrian activity GMHA has offered, from Jr. Horsemanship Camp, horse trials, dressage and jumper shows, and various schooling opportunities on its courses.  Both Melanie and Anna will be competing at GMHA’s inaugural Festival of Eventing August 6-12.

 All are excited that through St J Auto’s sponsorship, their family is supporting the facility in a substantial way and giving back to the organization that has been so important in their equestrian lives.
