Olympic Silver Medalist, Peter Leone and co-author, Kim Jaussi, will sign advance copies of their upcoming book, Peter Leone’s Show Jumping Clinic: Success Strategies for Equestrian Athletes at the Blue Ribbon Book Booth at Equine Affaire in Columbus, Ohio, on April 13-14 from 11:00 to 11:15 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and also from 2:25 to 2:40 p.m. on Friday. This is a rare opportunity to get a copy of the new book prior to its release, expected later in May.
The Blue Ribbon Book booth is located at 921-922 on the north end of the Bricker Building, which serves as the popular Ohio horse expo’s main tradeshow building. Leone is also a featured hunter/jumper clinician at the event.
Leone will also appear at the Nutrena Booth from 11:30 am to 12:30 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. The Nutrena booth, number 19, is also located in the Bricker Building.
Leone’s book, written along with Jaussi, an avid rider, writer and leadership professor and coach, explores every aspect of riding from the basics of correct use of aids through to the psychology of approaching a World Cup course.
The book employs diagrams, exercises and anecdotes, as well as photos featuring riders such as McLain Ward, Richard Spooner and Georgina Bloomberg, as models demonstrating concepts from his text.
