David Boley’s New York based Boley & Company Farm took home top honors during the ninth week of the 2012 Winter Equestrian Festival, winning the World Development Group Tack Room Award for their outstanding stabling area setup on the grounds of the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. The Tack Room Award is sponsored by the World Development Group, a premier developer committed to building the equestrian lifestyle in Wellington and around the world.

Boley & Company’s black and green colors, giant flags, potted plants, black fencing and enticing gazebo-style entrance were the perfect touch of class to help the farm take home the coveted Tack Room Award. Boley’s fame is well known in equestrian circles as he launched the career of Touch of Class, the small Thoroughbred mare that Joe Fargis rode to an Olympic Gold medal. “We’ve had some lovely horses over the years, from Touch of Class to Zanzibar, who won the Regular Working Hunter Championship at Madison Square Garden,” Boley said.

Boley was thrilled to win the Tack Room Award and said it was a “very pleasant surprise and an honor.” He added, “Hopefully our setup is an example of the care we give the horses. It’s nice and neat and all about the horses,” Boley said, adding that he has been competing at the Winter Equestrian Festival since it was held at the Wellington fairgrounds. “It’s always thrilling to be in Wellington. This is truly the winter capitol of the world equestrian sport.”

Boley has a rich equestrian background, including training with the legendary George Morris. With 25 years of training under his belt, Boley’s horses and students continue to ride into the winner’s circle at shows such as WEF, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show and the Washington International Horse Show. “We want to congratulate David and his staff at Boley & Company on creating a very inviting and eye-catching tack area at the show grounds,” said David Zinaman, Director of Real Estate Sales and Marketing for the World Development Group. “The World Development Group is pleased to be sponsoring the Tack Room Award during the 2012 Winter Equestrian Festival and we continue to be inspired by the great tack room creations we see week after week.”

The World Development Group is also sponsoring the 1.35m Jumper classes during the prestigious show circuit and Zinaman congratulated the 1.35m Jumper winners during week nine of WEF. Winners included: Jonathan McCrea riding Twisther, owned by Candy Tribble; Kim Barone riding Rival, owned by Raven Ridge Farm; and Andres Rodriguez riding Abendrot, owned by Arao Enterprises, LLC.

The World Development Group, based in Wellington, is dedicated to providing horse enthusiasts with the best equestrian lifestyle possible, whether building a small farm, an upscale riding center or an entire show grounds. The World Development Group recently built the new show grounds for the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington. “We offer a fully licensed in-house architectural group, land development division and zoning and engineering team. Most horse owners dream of their perfect equestrian lifestyle and the World Development Group can turn those dreams into reality,” Zinaman said, adding that they can create a state-of-the-art equestrian lifestyle in Wellington or anywhere around the world.
