Thanks to her great style, Adrienne Pot rode away with the PanaCavallo Style Award at the Wellington Classic Dressage Spring Challenge. Pot also competed her 15-year-old Oldenburg, R-Tistik, in the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special at the prestigious show, held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center. Pot was thrilled to win the PanaCavallo Style Award, and was recognized for her great style during the CDI jog. The Style Award is sponsored by PanaCavallo, the makers of bridles and leather goods, in partnership with Cavalleria Toscana, an elegant line of Italian equestrian clothing. Pot’s award-winning style included double-breasted pants, black on black and gorgeous earrings. “R-Tistik had just shed his ugly brown coat and was black again, so I wanted us to match,” she said, adding that she wanted to thank PanaCavallo and Cavalleria Toscana for recognizing her.
Michael Davis, owner of PanaCavallo, congratulated Pot on her winning style. “When presenting the Style Award we are searching for the best and also riders on the cutting edge of fashion. Adrienne looked great at the show and we are pleased to add her to our list of Style Award winners,” he said. “We were also excited to award Adrienne with one of our new chin pads, created with the horse’s comfort in mind. They are leather with high density foam that disperses the pressure off the chin.”
Pot used the chin pad during the remainder of the show and gave it a glowing recommendation. “It was wonderful, slid right on my bridle and was easy to clean. We had to ride in a torrential downpour and the chin pad that came with my bridle didn’t hold up in the rain, so I switched to the chin pad from PanaCavallo and it was perfect,” Pot said. “The PanaCavallo chin pad held up really well in the rainy weather. It was a great gift. I even went over to the Trilogy Saddles booth, because they sell PanaCavallo tack, and told them how wonderful I thought the chin pad was.”

Pot was also pleased that she was able to compete R-Tistik at the show. “I have owned him since he was three years old and have brought him all the way up through the levels to Grand Prix,” Pot said, adding that she trains with Kathy Connelly and in the past trained with Robert Dover.
PanaCavallo also has a new line of bridles, sold through Trilogy Saddlery, available in four styles and offering superb quality and workmanship that enhances the comfort of the horse. “The new line of PanaCavallo bridles offers custom fittings to ensure proper fit for the horse, an option not offered by any other bridle distributor in the United States. This is an incredibly important aspect of proper bridle fit and comfort for the horse. Each horse is measured and the different sizes and models are mixed to create a bridle that works best on that particular horse,” Davis said.
