Wellington, FL (November 23, 2011) – Susan Marcovitz channeled her inner equestrian interior decorator in her tack room setting at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center show grounds during the Gold Coast Fall Fling, and the great setup helped the dressage rider win the Schneiders Saddlery Tack Room Award. Sponsored by Schneiders Saddlery, a full service tack store offering a complete line of equestrian equipment, Marcovitz won Schneider’s EZ View Number System for Dressage Saddle Pads.
Schneiders will be sponsoring the Schneiders Saddlery Tack Room Award throughout the season, awarding the best tack room at each show with products from their store. “I feel very honored to win the Tack Room Award and I am very excited about it,” Marcovitz said. “I want to thank Schneiders for sponsoring the Tack Room Award. They are a great tack store out of Ohio and their website is very easy to shop and extremely accommodating. One of the great things about them is they have a wonderful selection of specialty sizes, fitting every breed from Arabians to oversized Warmbloods. If you can’t find it at a normal tack store, you will most likely find it at Schnieders.”
Marcovitz said that in addition to being thankful for winning the Tack Room Award from the Ohio dressage store, she was pleased with her mare’s performance at the show. “My mare, Chesapeke Bay, is also from Ohio. She did great at the show and she was there for me the whole way and it was a wonderful, wonderful ride,” she said. “I competed her in the Training Level and First Level and plan to continue competing her at the Gold Coast shows.”
Charles Pinnell, a Product Designer at Schneiders Saddlery, said, “We are really excited to sponsor the Schneiders Saddlery Tack Room Award this year and I want to congratulate Susan on her win and her great tack room setup. The Tack Room Award is always a highlight of each show and the competitors really go all out to create amazing home-away-from-home tack rooms that are great for their clients and the horses. We are looking forward to seeing the creativity of the tack rooms and to meeting all of the winners throughout the season.”

As the winner of the Schneiders Saddlery Tack Room Award, Marcovitz won Schneiders popular EZ View Number System. “They really are a useful item for dressage riders as they attach directly to the saddle pad and display the competitor’s number in a clean, professional way,” Pinnell said, adding that Schneiders Saddlery was founded in 1948 and has maintained a dedication to value, product quality, innovation and customer service.
Schneiders’ extensive website offers products and equipment for many disciplines, including dressage, hunter jumper, western and trail riding in addition to general barn supplies. “During the last few years Schneiders has greatly expanded their product line, especially for dressage. From fabulous bridles to bits, pads, girths, and horse wear, plus many training and general barn products, we want the dressage community to know that we have excellent choices at remarkable prices. We aim to provide riders, trainers and owners with everything they need to train, show and enjoy their horses,” Pinnell said.
