Holly Hudspeth and her husband, Chuck, are new parents to a baby girl.

The Rougemont, N.C.- based event rider posted on her blog that she gave birth via Caesarian-section to Hailey Hudspeth on June 10 at 11:33 p.m.

A week after her due date, Hudspeth, 39, was induced at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, N.C. After Hailey’s heart rate began “dipping to levels no one was happy about,” Holly was taken for an emergency C-section.

According to Holly’s Facebook page, Hailey was born at “6 lbs., 10 oz., 20 inches with lots of hair and blue eyes.”
