Lexington, KY – May 22, 2011 – The Alltech National Horse Show, 128th Edition, announced today that C.M. Hadfield’s Saddlery has been named the Exclusive Mobile Tack Shop and Presenting Sponsor of the ASPCA Alfred B. Maclay Championships for this year’s event.

The Alltech National Horse Show, 128th edition, will be staged at the Alltech Arena at the world-renowned Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, site of last year’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

“Hadfield’s is proud to be the official tack shop at the Alltech National Horse Show.  We have followed the National from Wellington, Florida, to Syracuse, New York, my home town, and now to Kentucky,” said Cindy Hadfield, owner of C. M. Hadfield’s Saddlery. “The Kentucky Horse Park is a wonderful facility, steeped in tradition and surrounded by equine greatness; it doesn’t get any better than that.”

“Hadfield’s would like to extend thanks to Mason Phelps, Jr., for his lifelong commitment to equestrian sport.  His considerable talents and marketing expertise virtually guarantee that the Alltech National Horse Show will be an exceptional event.  We would also like to thank Alltech and Dr. Pearse Lyons for their generous involvement in the Alltech National Horse Show,” Hadfield went on to say.  “They are world renowned for developing natural products to enhance animal health.”

National Horse Show of America, Ltd. President Mason Phelps, Jr. announced the sponsorship and welcomed Hadfield’s to the Alltech National Horse Show. “What a great addition to this year’s debut event,” he said. “Hadfield’s is all about great service and the best quality and will be of enormous value to all of the competitors at this year’s show.”

Hadfield happily agreed with Phelps’ assessment. “What makes us special is our dedication to offering unparalleled quality and customer service,” she smiled. “We have pursued the singular goal of being the best, both in terms of merchandise quality and customer service.  To this end, we have sought out only the finest merchandise for our inventory and have developed our own product lines. We specialize in fine English riding apparel and bridlework and also offer high quality sportswear, rainwear and unique accessory items suitable for riding, casual wear or any equestrian discipline,” Hadfield explained.

C. M. Hadfield’s Saddlery began in 1978 in Syracuse, New York.

In addition to being the Exclusive Mobile Tack Shop, Hadfield’s will also be the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s ASPCA Maclay National Championship.

“We are honored to be the Presenting Sponsor of this great American event. The ASPCA Maclay National Championship is the ultimate test of horsemanship for aspiring junior riders and their equine partners.  The Maclay rewards superb equitation, adaptability and riding intelligence, and recognizes not only achievement in equitation but also the ideal of true horsemanship – knowledge of and compassion for the horse,” Hadfield said. “Winning the Maclay Finals is a sensational achievement that has helped to launch many outstanding professional careers that continue to benefit our sport. Every rider who qualifies for the Maclay Finals is to be congratulated,” she said and added, “To reach this Final, each rider has had to demonstrate extraordinary dedication, focus and consistency.”

An integral part of C. M. Hadfield’s Saddlery is the fabulous new mobile unit which will be on hand for the debut of the Alltech National Horse Show. “In our mobile unit, as in our store, the ideas of quality, value and service prevail,” said Hadfield.

“As a child, I visited the National Horse Show in New York City and thought it was the most prestigious and spectacular event that I had ever seen.  Standing alongside such famous riders as Rodney Jenkins was exhilarating and inspiring,” she said. “Now, many years later, it is extremely gratifying to give back to the industry and an honor to be a part of the Alltech National Horse Show, an enduring equestrian tradition.”

The Alltech National Horse Show, 128th Edition, will be held from November 2 – 6, 2011, at the beautiful, new Alltech Indoor Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
