Kentucky Spring Horse Shows Announces Sponsors For The 2011 Spring Show Series

Lexington, KY - February 14, 2011 - Kentucky Spring Horse Shows' management company, Kentucky Horse Shows LLC, is pleased to announce the sponsors for the 2011 spring series. Audi of Lexington, Johnson Horse Transportation, Farm Vet, Dietrich Insurance, and the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will be sponsoring this year's hunter/jumper competitions. The event begins with the Kentucky Spring Horse Show held May 11-15, 2011 and The Kentucky Spring Classic will follow for the second week of competition scheduled for May 18-22, 2011.

Lexington, KY – February 14, 2011 – Kentucky Spring Horse Shows’ management company, Kentucky Horse Shows LLC, is pleased to announce the sponsors for the 2011 spring series. Audi of Lexington, Johnson Horse Transportation, Farm Vet, Dietrich Insurance, and the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will be sponsoring this year’s hunter/jumper competitions. The event begins with the Kentucky Spring Horse Show held May 11-15, 2011 and The Kentucky Spring Classic will follow for the second week of competition scheduled for May 18-22, 2011. The shows are all held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, which was also the site of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
 
Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will be the proud sponsor of the Hagyard Challenge Series. The Series will feature seven grand prix events and will begin during the Kentucky Spring Horse Show with the $30,000 Hagyard Lexington Classic, CSI 2* on Thursday, May 12, in the Main Stadium. Riders will have the opportunity to begin competing for the Hagyard Leading Rider Bonus. The Hagyard Challenge Series consists of seven grand prix classes to be held during the 2011 show series at the Kentucky Horse Park. The final Hagyard event will be the $50,000 World Cup Qualifier held on September 23, 2011, during the Kentucky National Horse Show.
 
The facility at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute offers 13 Digital Radiology systems, 1.5 Tesla Siemens Open MRI, Nuclear Scintigraphy, a high speed treadmill, an on-site laboratory, an on-site pharmacy, full surgical services, 24-hour ambulance and emergency services, and Hyperbaric Medicine. The institute has practiced veterinary medicine for more than 133 years and is currently composed of over 60 experienced veterinarians, with 12 board certifications in specialty areas of Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care, and Theriogenology.
 
Audi of Lexington will be sponsoring the $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Amateur-Owner/Junior High Jumper Classic. Audi is also returning as the sponsor for the $55,000 Mary Rena Murphy Grand Prix, CSI 2 on Saturday, May 21 during the Kentucky Spring Classic. Both events will be held in the spacious Main Stadium, which features the OTTO Sport footing system, and hosted the show jumping events for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
