Oscar123, we had one of your boys very briefly but I think I already told you about it on the SAFE board.

Coolness to whoever listed Time To Pass. One of the standbys from Longacres when I was a little girl.

Slewdledo - I know you were on the SAFE board, but I didn't realize that you actually had one of my boys. I would love any info you would care to pass on.

They are both doing great, well into the transition into dressage.

    Thanks!!!

He certainly could have been, but I doubt that it was the Gastown I knew (running in cheap Fort Erie claimers in the past few years).

I've known a lot of broodies since I foaled for some time, but I'm only going to list some special geldings right now which I hope someone might have known or know where they are.

Flynn- '84 B. Gelding (Exchanger x Meljo Maid) Deceased- someone may know from track or long English career.

Dial the Player- '94 B Gelding (Proud Player x Elliptical) Deceased- someone may know from his track life.

Round Rock- '98 B Gelding (Sunny's Halo x Gem Treck) Anyone know where he is? Someone may know from track or where he is now! Love to get in touch with this boy as he's special to me

Brocat was donated by his trainer to CANTER New England last year, after he arrived at Suffolk Downs from the WV circuit feeling pretty sore and needing some R & R time.

He was adopted by a WONDERFUL woman who dotes on him and loves his personality - he's now known as "Brodie" and doing really well, except that he sometimes forgets he's a gelding!

Here he is saying hi to me when we first met him at the track in '06:

    http://www.canterusa.org/newengland/...BrocatHead.jpg

He's a doll. Talk about well-bred, too! I almost fell over when I looked up his pedigree and saw that he is Lady Tak's half-brother.

And this is why I love a thread like this! That's great to hear that he's found a loving home. I was there when he was born. His mother was one of the daintiest, most petite mares in the barn.

    Default Hello Freebird

    Hiya,
Well, this is a sorta-kinda response - are Smoke Him Joe and Joe Also both by Cool Joe? I knew Cool Joe (nice Mid-Atlantic horse, sired a Grade I winner - El Huevos?).

Is Flying Max by Flying Pidgeon? Flying Pidgeon is doing well at Old Friends and is in the Calder Hall of Fame. I have one of his halters
