I think that NBC should have had a reporter follow just Teddy around for the whole three days and do "The Teddy Show". Did you hear the entire crowd just ROAR when he finished stadium. My God it was loud! Karen had the biggest grin on her face I've ever seen.
If he ever goes to Burleigh or Badminton I hope a documentary is done. Maybe I should volunteer.
P.Wynn since I know for many years I am more than thrilled for your little guy with the brave heart. I don't think I was as thrilled when Smarty Jones won the Derby.
I know the pains and sacrifices that you made to get to this day and you prove that tenacity and honesty in the long view do win. Teddy had a lot of love to give him so much courage over fences that were bigger than he was and he didn't make a mistake. Karen gave him a great ride.
GREAT DAY! the little guy gave all us little guys a chance to grow a big heart.
Thanks again, everyone. Teddy is headed to the Jersey Fresh event at the beginning of June to do the Advanced horse trials outing that is mandatory for the horses being considered for the Pan Am games. However, he's been given a "bye" on the cross country, which is a good sign that they are really considering him for the team. Wish us luck! Brother Kevlar calmly figured out how to pour himself through a tight bounce to a high upright Friday and promptly gave me rope burns (I was longing him) the next day as he freaked about nothing I could discern and took off across the field. Ya just gotta love the ups and downs, huh???
