Fisher Farms Montgomery,Al.
Sally McDonald, I wonder if she is still into horses, She used to exercise race horses during the summer.
Mr Fishers daughter was Judy Pirtle, She told me one time that I had really good hands and a nice seat. I was probally in the sixth grade and I still remember what a thrill that gave me!!! We used to ride our horses across the southern bypass on trail rides then come back by Arby's for lunch!!! It is a wonder we didn't get killed!

I would love to contact the woman who sold me my horse. Her name is Jennifer Chiodo-Harcourt and I think she lives in Vermont now.
I would also love to find Dayeona Wyatt and her horse Sterling. They should be somewhere in Northern California.

Rest in peace, beautiful boy

Do you know what airlines he flew for and where he was based out of?

Through this board, I did reconnect with some old friends that were at Windy Top Farm (Chester, NJ) in the 80's. That was fun and always looking to chat with others.
I would love to find Kristin Lascola (Gainesville, FL) who purchased my jumper mare from me in 2000. I sold her when I was pregnant with my son and always wondered how the mare worked out for her.
And I often wonder about Michelle Lieske (IL and FL- niece of Ralph Hill) who I was friends with when I went to junior college. We went through boy trauma, horse trauma and lost touch when we went away to 4 year schools.

I know Abby! She was actually one of the reasons I started riding. My parents took care of her when we were little so I always looked up to her and wanted to do everything she did! I named my first pony (and my screen name - Sable) after her last horse. I haven't seen her in years, but my family gets a Christmas card from her every year. I think she is still somewhere near C-ville. Waynesboro maybe? Did you go to St. Anne's with her?

When did you ride in that area? My first roommate in college is from Bloomfield Hills, she showed in that area in the mid-80s.
On that note, I would love to connect with anyone who went to Midway College in Midway Kentucky and was there in the years from 1988-1990.

Sable: I'm so excited to hear this. Abby and I used to ride together at Foxfield Stables in the early 80's. In fact, I know you!! You won't remember me but when your parents lived at her father's place in Farmington I remember going to your house and I remember a little toddler that lived there. Cute little girl with blonde hair? Is that you? I was not aware she had bought another horse. After she sold me Applesauce she bought a big chestnut gelding named Honda. His show name was Flaming Image. We had such fun together. I live in Waynesboro now too and if she's close by I would pee in my pants. I would love to find her! If there's anyway you can provide me with some contact info that would be great!!!

I would love to reconnect with people I rode and worked with at Sue Van Blarcom's Shannon Hill Farm in the late 1980s - early 1990s. I had some great friends there, such as Jessie Sentivan, Bekah Cowell, Emily Morris, and Wendy Vogel. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

not a barn pal but an old trainer, anyone know Cheryl Reed (was Davidson but I know she got divorced). I rode with her at Vail in North Salem, NY, 1986-1987 and completely lost touch and don't hear of her anymore. I'm guessing she was in her mid to late 20s back then...her eyes were two different colors (blue and brown I think). Was a very successful junior rider would have been in the late 70s/early 80s I guess but I forgot who she rode for...anyone know her and what's she's up to nowadays?

Wow - what a small world!! That actually wasn't me - we lived with them at Esmont Farm before they moved to Farmington, but we visited them all the time at Farmington. I think you must be thinking of one of the Beechum girls - their family took care of Abby after mine did. Abby used to take me riding with her when we would visit so maybe I did meet you at some point. Her last horse, after Honda I guess, was Sable - show name All In Sable - she sold him right before she went to college. I was 9 or 10 at the time and looking for my first horse and my parents wouldn't let me have him because he was blind in one eye. I was heartbroken so I named the pony that I did get Sable after him. I went to her wedding when I was still in college (I think in '96???) but that was the last time I saw her. I know that my mom hears from her occasionally so I will see if I can find some contact information for you. If I remember correctly from her Christmas cards, she is married and living outside of C-ville somewhere with her chocolate labs.

Sable: Ah, so she did get married. What is her new last name? I am so excited about this. She and I were best friends for awhile. We used to dream about starting a horse farm together down in Esmont.
I was thinking about the Beechums in Farmington. So you knew her before they moved to Farmington.
I read in People magazine about 10 years ago that her father passed away. Is her mother still around?
Yes, if you can find any contact info that would be so great. I would love to give her a call and hopefully see her if she is still close by. Where are you living now?
