Talking The Cover of "Ride!" Mag. in CA--Oh My! Is this Mr. Johnson's Bird's Eye View of Dre

Excuse me, but is this a normal thing? I mean, the built in breeches pommel shade cover. I might have chosen another pic, but hey, reminds me of an infamous Sears Men's underwear ad when I was a little kid...all my mom's friends giggling....

    Talking I remember that ad

Yes I remember that Sear's ad. I think someone actually wrote a Country Western song about it. Yes, someone post a picture if you can.

    Thanks and best wishes

Try and get a larger pic of the dressage horse and strange breech appendage hovering horizontally over the pommel...on the big cover it is quite a showing, but then, I don't know, maybe this horse is doing a pirouette and "Turning On" (a dime?)

OMG! I just read the mag yesterday and didn't even see it!
Of course I had to go and look at it right now and was just ROFLMAO!
My husband came running and asked me what's going on, so I showed him.
He seems to think it's a sock!

If the USDF allows pocket rockets as part of the rider's apparal it is doubly confusing why they don't allow bitless bridles...could Mr. Upper Level Rider be doing the freestyle, or perhaps the second brain thought it was time to salute?
