My horse was hit about 6 pm. HE tore up his face. I think he will be ok. I was running after him and saw it. I am in shock, I guess. I can't talk, but can type, I guess
    Jingles please.
I never felt that kind of shocked panic before.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I know what it is like to witness this sort of thing. I was riding in Central Park in NYC and a rider was bucked off a young QH and it ran back to the barn...through CP and right into traffic and a car hit him. The horse tried to jump over the car but ended up on top of it. It was desperately awful to see as there were alot of cuts and abrasions. He recovered in the end. So I hope that your story ends a happy one. Jingles your way. Lots of love, TLC and prayers will work miracles for your friend.

thank you all. I have had horses for years and seen lots of bad injuries but I have never felt like this. I have a doctor boarder who got me some drugs, don't know what and I am going to try to go to sleep.
I couldn't look at my poor boy. I sent him to the vet clinic over night.
His muzzle ... words fail me. it was awful, a floor full of blood.

I'm so sorry. Having a horse loose is pure fear... It's terrible you saw it, but at least you were there for him in an instant. Is the driver ok? You probably should see a doctor.

    Default he's really lucky

Although you might not think so, your horse was very lucky. A woman I know had her horse hit and killed yesterday. Count your blessings yours survived.
