Default Horse Needs Help- Craigslist Ad in TX

Can anyone take this horse in?

    http://elpaso.craigslist.org/grd/4597194199.html

My barn is completely full, otherwise I would have a brand new skele-horse that stakes out...

Too far to do anything but send a dribble if anyone can help.

Sorry, I just got one like this but worse in Ga. A month ago. Same "se vende" backyard scenario. Just happened to have room and couldn't get her out of my mind. Never done anything like that before.
I will say, we are just smitten with her, she turned out to be tatooed and has quite a personality, so if anyone has a barn and room, could be a real mitzvah for you. Also, my folks took a crisp hundred dollar bill instead of the three hundred they asked for.

I wish it was closer. I would pay 250 to give that baby a shot at the life it deserves. :, ( just picked up a donkey on similar shape. If someone will transport it half way to Houston.

I'm in for a dribble as well, if someone can give this horse a soft landing.

If anyone can get him to within a few hours of San Antonio, I could haul him on for a bit toward a new home, if he gets one.

So if we can get him 2 hrs outside San Antonio I can pick him up in San Antonio and give him a nice quiet home at our farm that sits next to Nails Creek State park. Plenty of groceries and a nice vetting budget. I wish I could just go get him right now. Can't sleep knowing he is stuck there.

Great of you Kaitsmom! OK now how far is he from you and who can move him? I'm in for a dribble. $250 is slaughter fodder, so we need for someone to do the legwork to get him out of there quickly. PM me for a donation and the paypal addy for me to send it to. Whether to help buy him or for gas/transport, etc.

Xeroxchick, that's great of you to take in one of the many starving horses here in GA.

Ok. I will be with my brother in law today who speaks Spanish and I will have him call the number and find out more and tell them I am interested. I also emailed a reputable pet rescue program in El Paso and the lady is going to call some horse people today and see if they would be willing to participate in the transfer operation.

I can cover the 250 to rescue this poor soul so any donation can help cover transport. I see a lot of skinny horses and I have rehabbed one 30 year old quarter horse that was worse than this, but I wasn't in the position to own him since I didn't have the facilities. I am not a sucker for these pics usually, But something in this guy's face speaks to me.

I'm nearby, but can't find the ad. Any more detail on it? Age/sex/breed/color? I could call him, but would like to know what the ad said, so I can say i'm calling about the ad, and not sound clueless.
I might have someone that would rescue one, here, but just need a few details before I call.

250, chestnut gelding, socks, blaze, looks to me to be a thoroughbred. No age, height, breed listed. Very thin. Tied out with a rope around his neck.
    Let me apologize in advance.

God I hope he went to someone who wants to feed him, and not feed him to something
    Let me apologize in advance.

I was thinking the same thing although my first thought was he may be used for tripping and then sold on.
