You have something there! Because, heaven knows - what would an Orange do?!?

I was THRILLED they I was on spring break from teaching last week so I didn't have to deal with traffic and parking to get to work . (NOTE - I work just blocks from the arena where rounds 2 and 3 were being played Thursday and Saturday and park in a lot within walking distance to said arena).

    That was about my interest.

My bracket is completely shot thanks to Wichita and me being to kind to Villanova.

Guess Warren Buffet isn't writing me a check for $1 Billion this year

I think I heard that by Saturday night NOBODY had a correct bracket. So your not alone - Warren Buffet won't be writing that check to anybody.

The top 10 brackets get $100,000 but that horse was shot in the face for me as well thanks to Wichita.

I went t o college in ACC territory. Way back when Davidson, our "brother" college, had a great roundball team. (Before our president Sam Spencer left and took over the college and eliminated a lot of the scholarships for roundball.) While I'm an SEC football fanatic, graduate school at UGA, I love ACC basketball. Unfortunately both UNC and Duke have tanked. Well UK, which used to be our (SEC) only good roundball team, is still in it. And going to take on it's ex-coach over at Louisville. Another team I also like. It's hard to root for UF since we tend to lose to them in football each year. So go UK and go Lousiville and go UF in that order.

This is funny: Once, when the championship game was in Atlanta, my friend, now the DA, and my judge and friend, now a federal judge, had tickets to the game. Both are black. Their compted tickets were in the Brigham Young section, aka all white, and they were cheering for Marquette, which fielded an all black team. They said all the people from Utah kept looking at them like they were not supposed to be in that section. Marquette won.

This year is interesting. I don't remember the city being as excited about a team since the Steve Kerr/Sean Elliot days and the first Final Four for the U of A. It's just electric any time you hear mention of basketball. I hope they pull it out...

Anyone else watching and rooting for any of the remaining teams?!

UK and UVA are off to rough starts....
