While it will be a while before fly masks are needed here (it's currently 36 F with wind chill of 29) I just ordered one for my horse for this coming summer.
Is there any way to get the kinks and creases out of the mesh? They come all folded up and I have yet to figure out how to get the creases out so they fit reasonably well on the horse.
Part of me wants to heat up the iron (if I can even find it) and see if I can iron out the creases. Only problem is I'm afraid it will melt the mesh.
I've got at least a month and probably longer till I need to use it but would love to know what others do to get the fold lines/kinks/creases out.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Back in my day, we didn't have as many warning labels because people weren't so dang stupid!
I put mine through the washer and then hung it to dry
Seemed to work well!

I was going to say the same.
Yep, come to think about it, previous ones I've had looked better after they got dunked in a bucket of water to rinse. Into the washer the next load I do.
Thanks for the reminder. Spring is (hopefully) just around the corner!
