I happen to love winter, but am tired from all of the cold today, so I thought this was appropriate. Thanks!

I would gladly take a turn with the bat this winter!

While I was raised not that far from said groundhog, I think I'd fill his hole with a dump truck load of fresh horse manure so he can't even get out! Sorry Phil, but this winter has been one I'd like to forget. An early spring would be nice. Heck, even no more wind chills below 15 F would be great. And, if we have to have more snow, how about 4-6" consistently on the ground. None of the rain/snow/rain mix and freeze/thaw/freeze cycle turning the snow to ice. I really don't think that's too much to ask.

I don't really care what the groundhog sees -- I would consider only 6 more weeks of winter to be a blessing. I am still traumatized from last winter, which lasted well into MAY. I specifically remember having my Mom over for Mother's Day lunch -- in a snowstorm.

This winter has been so brutally cold and snowy, I would be thrilled to death if it ended in 6 weeks.

We have had approximately 110 inches of snow this year so far. Yes, that is over nine feet of snow. The rest of the time it has been just too cold to snow (the only upside to the -15F or colder days).

One can always hope.... And we're supposed to get five inches overnight. Yay.

I'm in total agreement but I'm also a realist.

We had enough rain last night to turn part of the packed down snow to ice, but it's a rough ice so far. Unfortunately, the rest isn't going to melt anymore and we do have possibly significant snow predicted for a few days from now.

I don't dislike the little groundhog but I sure do have a lot of problems with Mother Nature. She sure is a "MOTHER'!!
