13.2 Pony Gelding 20-something FTGH in Southern NJ
Artie is a very special pony. He's been with me for the last 7 years. He has been being used in the lesson program for the last few years. He is now 20-something and ready for an easier lifestyle. My intentions had been to retire him, but my finances have changed with my son's recent hospital stay and I can longer afford him.
He is a very easy keeper, and can live on grass. He is sound barefoot. He has arthritis in his hocks that can make him cranky to be ridden on some days, but he is perfectly happy to give a leadline or lungeline lesson. He is full of personality and super easy to work around. I would love to see him as a companion pony that gives the occasional ponyride to the grandkids, etc. He did lose his right eye 3 years ago due to an injury, but it doesn't phase him at all.
arrgh, this is killing me, this is exactly the pony I want for my kids to do easy up-down lessons and the pony would have a great forever home with me. I even used to live in SE PA... now I'm in SoCal. I hope he lands in a great place for some lucky kids.
