I am cross-posting this because so many here visit only particular forums.

The American Hanoverian Society is holding its 2014 annual meeting here in Houston February 7-9, 2014. I am the chairperson of the meeting this year. It will be held at the Marriot Energy Corridor Hotel on I10 between Hwy 6 and Barker-Cypress.

I hope many of you will try to attend. Even if you are not a member of AHS, you can attend the educational seminars - which will include:

Pre-Purchase Exams from all Three Perspectives - Buyer, Seller & Vet;

Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Massage Therapy: They are not alternative treatments anymore;

Myths, Methods & Modern Modes of Equine Reproduction;

Bringing the Broodmare (or other long laid off horse) Back into Under Saddle Work;

What to do until the Vet Arrives: Handling and Equine Emergency;

Marketing and Advertising in the Age of Social Media;

Heritability and Breeding Values: How to use them to select a stallion for your mare; and

How to Select a Young Prospect for Show Jumping, Hunters and/or Dressage by Evaluating Conformation, Movement, Free Jumping and Pedigree - This one to be held at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center in the hour before the Grand Prix begins and is FREE to all to attend.

Full Registration: $175.00 (advanced); $200.00 (walk-ins)
(includes all meetings, Friday banquet, Saturday’s events and cocktail party)

Friday Evening Banquet Only: $65.00 (advanced); $75.00 (walk-ins)

Saturday Events Only: $75.00 (advanced); $100.00 (walk-ins)

If you are coming from out of town, we have reserved rooms at a great rate at the Marriot Energy Corridor on I10 where the banquet and seminars will be held.

And I have tons of surprises planned.
