    Default Skinny Handle Crop?

Does anyone have recommendations for a skinny handled crop/bat that won't break the bank? I'm really not fond of the fat grip ones and that seems to be what all the barn-owned ones are. I lose feel of the reins in whatever hand I have the crop in and/or am slow to readjust things whenever I have to change hands with it.

I seldom need to use it, but it's nice to have in hand (and get used to having in hand) if I do need it. I'd love something that doesn't take up too much more room than the reins in my palm.

    Thanks!

Just go to any tack shop and look at the selection of cheap crops. They generally have handles not much wider than the shaft of the crop itself. You will have to break a handle loop off, and most of them don't come with very good poppers, but the part that fits in your palm should fit what you're looking for.

Just got one of these. Great for the money:

    Thanks guys!

Although seeing a picture of the horseloverz.com one makes me think I do have one just like that buried in the back of my bridle bag. Unfortunately the shaft is neon green, but that's nothing a little matte spray paint wouldn't fix, right?

I hate the cheap crops. I don't like the feel or the balance of them.

I would rather go with something like this:
