Default saddle flaps. Can anyone help me with what exactly this means?

I was conversing with one of the Voltaire reps this morning about trading in my Voltaire for one that fits a little better. Current saddle is a 17.5 inch Voltaire Palm Beach with a 3 flap. Love the saddle, the seat is a bit snug though. I sent the rep a picture of me in my current saddle and he recommended a 18 inch seat with a 4R flap, which is a back forward flap. What exactly is a back forward flap?

    Thank you in advance!
