Ok I'll wade in! Short list -

    Frozen - Furstenball - Lissaro - Cachas - Diarado - Colorit
Backup Fresh - Schwarzenegger - Rubinus - Kumano - Case

Having just broken four ribs in a horsey accident I spent the last five weeks researching stallions with a subscription to Clipmyhorse. The mares have a bit of age on them so I am hesitating to use frozen this year.

Has anyone ever used any of the above stallions? Some of these are fairly new to the scene, but maybe some of you have used them?

Only thing I know for sure is I'm breeding my 17h MMB Oldenburg mare, by Tantris, to my TB stallion Seattle Jones for a super event prospect!

Haven't decided about my TB and Hanoverian event mares..... TB is in foal to Royal Appearance, Han is leased to a dressage breeder, bred to Landkoenig, not sure if I want to lease her out again or breed her myself.....

Thanks Fair Weather! I am pretty small, but Tula is a pretty normal sized foal- she is very harmonious and perfectly put together so she seems bigger than she actually stands. Her temperament is superb. She is no doubt the alpha of the herd, but had a sweetness and intelligence that is an improvement on the dam.

As both 2013 foals sold pre-weaning, both w/b bred back to Tzigane *Pb*:

Hennie *M* (E.H. Muenchhausen - E.H. Rockefeller) for a full sibling to 6yo Young Jumper Champion Herzmond, 2* Eventer Harry Houdini *Pb* and FEH Ch Hurricane Hannah.

Orania (Harlem Go - Heraldik xx) for a full sibling to the extraordinary 2013 colt Overlord (Oli).

We had every intention of keeping her but the perfect opportunity arose and she has been sold with retained breeding rights in 2016. We will repeat the cross this spring.

    I'm still working on mine.

    Some I am considering

    BeeBe (Briar) to Ecuador Skødstrup

Anastasia Riggantonia Bonita (Rosentau) to Nobody's Harlequin

Demoiselle D'Avignon (Dauphin) to Nobody's Harlequin

Padraigin av Drommarna (Pegasus v. Niehaus-Hof) to Halifax Middlesom

CCS Raina (Halifax Middelsom) to Schiffon

CCS Galadriel (Don Principe) - Ecuador Skødstrup

1 more left to decide who to breed too.
Ululu (Ariadus) -----? Probably Halifax Middelsom

Trying again with Pirouette CF. Her last foal is coming two (siiiigh). Also on the hook for my first Anglo breeding, Risky Allure -- aiming for an ammy-friendly eventer out of that one. Sire is Porte CF for both.

And yes, I plan these year-round!

I only have one to breed next year (a holsteiner mare by Columbus who was last bred to Lordship) and have it narrowed down to either Lamarque or Casciendo. Maybe in a month or two I will have made my decision...

not to detrail but has anyone used Arezzo? I'm wary of any Heartbreaker son as the last son we tried was just a waste of money...a lot of money.

I have an Oldenburg mare (Cordaleme x Landedel x Grannus) thinking: Banderas, Bon Balou or Cunningham (fresh as backup)
I also have a KWPN mare (Indoctro x Concorde x Amulet) thinking: Ustinov, Goodtimes, Zirocco Blue or Numero Uno. Would love opinions or other ideas! Thanks.

We will be breeding Amazing to our Cassini mare again (fingers crossed…she had some uterine damage due to the foaling farm missing the birth of her colt in 2013). As long as she stays happy and healthy through foaling in June, we'll do a rebreed. We also just lucked into a breed lease on a Rubenstein mare that was an AO hunter with fantastic show record who will be bred to Amazing in 2014 as well.

Breeding season is coming up fast! Best of luck to everyone

    I have two this year.

I will be breeding my Roman Nature-Rohdiamant/Cor Noir mare to NEGRO!!! Love how he crosses with German mares! So I'm super excited to see this cross.

And I will repeat my Old approved TB mare to COR NOIR - which produced my 2013 premium and high point foal (keeper filly). Great cross!

My DH tells me these will both be for sale... but we'll see
