Not a tv commercial, but a local radio station plays this incredibly annoying ad for a local grocery store... annoying enough that I refuse to shop in the store even if its directly on my way. It makes me want to pull my hair out every time I hear it
I can handle alot of commercials by just ignoring them. But the ONE commercial I physically have to get up and "mute" or otherwise avoid is the super sappy Cheerios commercial with the little kid and his mom. Little kid asks if his mom's mom fed her cheerios and she says "yes" and he says "then eating cheerios is like eating with Grandma" and mom gets all emotional (clearly, Grandma must be dead). You're a breakfast cereal, Cheerios! Stop trying to appeal to the sorrow of dead beloved grandmas!
The Skittles candy commercial - where the kid shows up with skittles stuck all over his face and neck and says his doctor says he has "skittles pox" and his little friend picks a candy off his face and eats it. Then she has skittles on her face and neck. Just ewww.
ALL of the Viagra and Cialis (sp?) ads! Especially the ones where the couple is sitting in two bathtubs. Why separate tubs? I know there was some reason the company insisted on two tubs, but it's still stupid.
I like the Swiffer ad with the old couple, but the chimes/bells in the beginning drive me crazy. Worst earworm ever for me, for some reason.
Is there anyone here who DOESN'T hate the Charmin bears who are incapable of wiping their asses properly? Or who thinks "Enjoy The Go" is cool?
Anyone? 'Fess up, surely someone finds those stupid bears charming. (Bears don't use TP anyway. According to a very old joke, they use rabbits to wipe).
My dad thought that joke was hilarious. I thought him finding it hilarious, was funny, because he was pretty conservative and proper...
But the Charmin commercial DOES make me think of that joke every time I see it.
I hate the Sonic commercials, and the E trade talking baby. Well pretty much any talking baby commercial.
